We got a chance to get up with one of our brand ambassadors and she is bringing the heat with her professional makeup business called "MBglam" and now she is stepping out her shell and embracing her skin. curves and confidence. Insecurity is out the window.

It's always a pleasure to see you Mercedes, the last time we saw you, you were doing your thing in the make-up industry and tell us you were trying to break out that shell and embrace your curves and now we see you shattered that shell completely and we love it.

How have you been?

It's been about a year and a half since we chopped it up. Yes, I'm blessed

How's the makeup business going?

My business is going great! I just got back from Hollywood CA where I shadowed my mentor who is a celebrity makeup artist as he did make up for clients for the Oscars.

Who is Ms. Mercedes? What should people know about this Jersey girl?

Mercedes is fierce and unapologetic! She does it all literally and is adding to her roster daily to become the best version of herself she can be!

When do you feel the most beautiful?

I feel the most beautiful when I’m at peace and my skin is clear

What makes you feel sexy?

Smelling good makes me feel sexy! As well as my bald head!

How long have you been doing makeup?

I have been doing makeup for 16 years

What products should ladies use before applying their make-up?

You definitely want a daily skin care regimen that includes an exfoliant, toner and moisturizer. Depending on your skin type you could customize it, but skin care is very important to the outcome of your makeup.

What make-up products do you recommend?

I love NARS products as well as Smashbox. These brands cater to both skin types whether oily or dry.

What made you break out your shell where you're not shy to show off those curves?

Seeing other beautiful curvy women being fearless gave me the confidence to break out of my shell!! I said if they can do it, I can too!!!!

When it comes to fashion what's your style like?

I love a mixture of business casual and sheek. When you look good, you feel good, and the professional look makes me want to make some money as well as spend it lol

Do you have a signature make-up look, if so, what is it?

Yes, I have a signature make up look and it’s a simple soft glam with a smokey nude eye and nude lip whether matte or glossy. You can dress that look up or down and it will serve!!!

What drives you to do what you do?

My passion for serving and making people feel good on the outside as well as inside is what drives me.
